Also closing is a painfull, because everything has a different tab width and cant still clicking at the same place like in chrome. Its obscene that such a basic feature is missing - especially when Adobe bundles pro-level fonts with Photoshop, and users have no way of accessing the majority of the character set in-application Like 10 years ago 0 chain83 88 Messages 1.9K Points I would like it like the InDesign Glyph Panel (slightly better than the one in Illustrator imo.). Like 9 years ago 0 mathias 201 Messages 3.6K Points Either Illys or Indesigns glyph access solution brought to Photoshop would cause waves of happiness to wash over me. Like 7 years ago 0 chriscox2148894 15.1K Messages 195.8K Points Adrinne - You can type those characters even on a normal keyboard - those dont need a glyphs palette. Like 7 years ago 0 charlesmartin6569819 2 Messages 70 Points Just having a way to access all the alternate glyphs. Ideally, one just like InDesign would be great - where highlighted glyphs in a text window bring alternates to the top. Like 7 years ago 0 dessiraecantrell 8 Messages 130 Points You can find the full set of glyphs in your font via a different way. Like 6 years ago 0 dustinwilson 4 Messages 182 Points 10 years ago I think itd be just prudent for consistencys sake to put Illustrators gyphs palette into Photoshop (and every other Adobe app that can take advantage of it). And we have a limited amount of engineers and time -- so wed like to focus on what you actually NEED. No offense, but of all the things developed for photoshop in the last 3 yrs, I would have put the glyph palette at the top of the heap. Like 10 years ago 0 garconis 105 Messages 3.8K Points 10 years ago Well, what we need can depend on the project. But we do NEED (ideally) a palette that displays all the glyphs (i.e., every character) for the selected font. ![]() Some fonts have certain glyphs that other fonts do not, and it would be nice (just as Illustrator and InDesign do) to have a listpalette showing all the available charactersglyphs for the chosen font.
